King and Woolley was established in 1990. Prior to this, the partners, Keith Woolley and David Bolton King had both worked for other firms in Oxfordshire. Indeed, between them they have in excess of 40 years experience.
Keith Woolley says: ‘When David and I set up King & Woolley it was because we had become somewhat disillusioned with the service provided by and attitude of some firms involved in this business. We wanted to be able to provide a professional, efficient but personal and friendly service concentrating on people’s property needs and not their mortgage or life insurance requirements. This remains our aim today and we have built up a team of like-minded individuals to help us. We both remain ‘hands on’ and are pleased to deal personally with as many of our clients as is possible.’ Keith and David are both Fellows of NAEA Propertymark and Members of ARLA Propertymark, amongst the leading property bodies in the country.
With offices prominently situated in Banbury’s High Street, just down from The Cross, and in New Street, Chipping Norton, a busy thoroughfare, we are ideally situated to cover the local North and West Oxfordshire area as well as parts of South Northants and South Warwickshire. Regular advertising in both the Banbury and Oxford press is complemented by full colour listing on the major internet property portals as well, of course, as on this site.
Trading under the locally well-known name of Lester Land, we also have our own consultant surveyor, Nigel Beynon, providing building surveys, RICS Home Buyer reports and schedules of condition.

We trade from a prominently situated office in New Street, Chipping Norton from which we cover the local area of North and West Oxfordshire and parts of the neighbouring counties of Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.
The business is owned by David Wilkins who has had a long career as an estate agent in the county and works in the business full time, alongside Associate Partner David Hawley who has worked in the business since 2006 and has unrivalled knowledge of the area.
